KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State football is back in action this Saturday for an ASUN Conference showdown against Central Arkansas. The matchup will be the first in series history between the Owls and Bears, with kickoff set for 1:00 p.m.

- Kennesaw State has won seven-straight conference games inside Fifth Third Bank Stadium dating back to last season. With a win on Saturday, the Owls will tie the program record of eight from 2016-2019.
- Through its first five games of 2022, the KSU defense has forced 12 turnovers. Last week against North Alabama, the Owls swiped two interceptions and recovered one fumble. In the week prior at Jacksonville State, the team tied a single-game program record with five forced turnovers against the Gamecocks.
- The Kennesaw State offense has scored a point in 86-straight games and has reached the double-digit mark in each of its last 64 contests. The last time the Owls scored less than 10 points was in November of 2016.
- Last Saturday, KSU quarterback Xavier Shepherd moved into second place all-time in the Owl record book for career rushing touchdowns. The junior has totaled 27 in his career, and trails only Chandler Burks for the school record (56).
- The Owls enter week seven in the top-3 in multiple FCS categories. The team currently ranks second in the nation in average time of possession (36:37) and third in fumbles recovered (8), fewest penalty yards (149) and fewest penalty yards-per-game (29.8).

Faculty/Staff Tickets
Kennesaw State Athletics has announced a ticket promotion for the football game versus Central Arkansas. For this event, all faculty and staff can claim two complimentary tickets on the East side of the stadium and one parking pass located within the Gray lot. Owl Walk
The team will be dropped off on Busbee Drive at the entrance to the green lot two hours before kickoff. Led by the band and spirit squads, head coach Brian Bohannon will escort the Owls off the buses and into the stadium.
Owl Town
A free pregame tailgate is back for Owl fans of all ages beginning 2.5 hours before kickoff. This week, registered student organizations from KSU will take over Owl Town and KSU students are encouraged to visit before the stadium gates open.
Live bands, free food from J.D.’s BBQ, sponsor tents, and more will stretch George Busbee Parkway to add to the gameday atmosphere. Partners in attendance will be Coca-Cola, Wellstar, Jimmy Johns, The Beacon, Georgia Lottery, Georgia Army National Guard and Pritchard Injury Firm.
Located within Owl town for Saturday’s game will be the Coke Zero Sugar Football Tour. Fans can visit for an engaging experience utilizing 360-degree camera technology and a customized team photo moment.
Premium Seat Entrance
Starting this Saturday, there will be a new premium entrance available for all loge, indoor and concourse suite holders. The entrance will be available at the Georgia Natural Gas Gate and is located at the farthest left lane for easy access into the stadium.
Clear Bag Policy
In an effort to provide a safer environment, enhance fan experience and significantly expedite entry into Fifth Third Bank Stadium, Kennesaw State adheres by a clear bag policy. Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12″ x 6″ x 12″ or one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar) are permitted in the stadium. Individuals may also carry a small clutch purse, no larger than 4.5″ x 6.5″, with or without a handle or strap. All clear bags and clutch purses will be screened prior to entry into the venue. All bags and purses not meeting the above requirements will not be permitted. Although permitted, childcare items, including diapers, must also be carried in an approved clear bag. Bags needed for medical reasons will be allowed and will need to enter through the Georgia Natural Gas gate to be checked.
