Online LLC Registration
Our Swyft Filings review found that the company offers three tiers of LLC offerings: Basic, Standard and Premium. For all tiers, the Swyft Filings LLC formation process is broken down into three steps. First, you’ll complete an online form with basic information about your business, which Swyft Filings says should take 10 minutes or less.
Next, Swyft Filings will use the information to complete the required documents to file an LLC in your state. When this process is complete, Swyft Filings will file your paperwork with the secretary of state.
The final step is simple: wait. Once the documents have been authorized by your state, you will receive the completed version by mail. Note that processing times vary by state.
Legal Document Templates
Your business may need other legal documents in addition to those required for incorporation. For example, an LLC operating agreement outlines how your company will function and defines the ownership structure. Some states require this document as part of the process to register for an LLC, but even if your state doesn’t, it’s still a good practice for your new business. Even if you are forming a single-member LLC, an operating agreement is recommended.
Swyft Filings offers easy-to-use LLC operating agreement formation. This feature is included in the Standard and Premium packages, but is an added fee of $35 for their Basic option.
EIN Acquisition
Swyft Filings can also help business owners obtain an Employer Identification Number, which is necessary before collecting revenue, hiring employees or opening a bank account. This will provide you with a nine-digit number that will identify your business for tax purposes. You’ll automatically receive this service as part of the Standard and Premium packages, but it is an additional $79 as an add-on to the Basic package.
Registered Agent Services
A registered agent is a person or service that receives any formal correspondence between your business and the government. Our Swyft Filings review found that registered agent services are not included in any of the LLC packages You must add on this feature if you wish for Swyft Filings to act as your registered agent.
To receive these services, you’ll fill out a questionnaire and pay a fee. Swyft Filings will be listed as your registered agent in official documents and will be the first contact for any legal issues that may arise. Relevant reminders and key documents are available to users through a secure online dashboard.
Customer Support
Swyft Filings reviews note that the company offers lifetime access to customer support. Swyft Filings customer service is available by phone from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. CST, Monday to Friday. It also features email correspondence and a form on their website for new and existing customers to reach out with questions.
