PlayStation has announced which new games are being added in August to the higher tier PS Plus subscriptions, Extra and Premium.August’s free games for base Plus subscribers are already available to add to your digital libraries, while the following games will be added to the huge Extra/Premium library from August 16. Unlike the base Plus freebies, all these games may be removed from the service at any time.As previously announced, three Yakuza games – Zero, Kiwami and Kiwami (ie: the first three) – are joining the library. The massively popular series sees you try and fight your way through Japan’s criminal underworld, while meeting all sorts of crazy characters and taking part in wacky missions.

The former is an adorable photography game with a surprisingly diverse cast of cute characters and imaginative food/insect creatures, but with dark plot twists, while the latter is one of Twitch’s most streamed games due to its tense team-based gameplay, terrifying moments and a line-up of recognisable favourites. We’ve also got Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, classic RPG remake Trials of Mana, survival horror Metro Exodus, and party games Wheel of Fortune, Monopoly Plus, Monopoly Madness and UNO. The latter in particular uses the PlayLink app, so four players keep all their cards hidden and play a devastating Wild Draw Four when no-one suspects.
