New PS Plus July 2022 Premium Refresh Explained While all PlayStation Plus members can now download the Essentiel Games for July – including Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, Man of Medan, and Arcadegeddon, more is being planned for the Premium Tier. As explained by Sony earlier in 2022, a second monthly refresh will occur for those who have subscribed to the more expensive Premium Tier. However, while the rules are well-established for the Essential Tier Free Games, Sony looks set to play it a little more fast and loose with its subscription expansion. According to the tech giant, the PS Plus Premium Refresh will happen in the middle of the month with new games across PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium/Deluxe plans. However, the number of games refreshed will vary per month, and as mentioned above, there is no set date. Luckily for us, we already know at least one of the new games coming to the Premium Tier this month, and what date it will be available. Sony has confirmed that Stray launches on July 19, making it a day one release title for Premium. It’s unclear at this point if more titles will be added to the list, although we do know that Shadow Warrior 3 has now been removed as a playable option from the library. For those who might have missed its announcement, Stray is a third-person adventure where you control a lost feline looking to escape a long-forgotten cyber city. Due to it being a new game, we can’t say for certain how well received it will be with fans.
