We’re in for a chilly couple of months, if you couldn’t already tell by the Antarctic weather out there.

Today we’re looking at a top of 13 degrees and if this doesn’t mean wearing slippers in the office, I don’t know what does.

UPDATE, 1pm: Alleged Cobram Bikie boss refused bail

An alleged Cobram bikie boss facing charges over local and interstate drug trafficking has been refused bail.

Joshua Eddy, 30, of Cobram, unsuccessfully applied for bail at Shepparton Magistrates’ Court on Monday, May 23, with the matter continuing on May 25 and 27.

He’s facing a myriad of charges including trafficking a large commercial quantity of methylamphetamine and cocaine, possession of cocaine and methylamphetamine, being a prohibited person in possession of a prescribed item namely a scope, plus more.

UPDATE, 9.15am: High Street lane closure from next week

Due to construction in the area, a single lane closure will come into place on Monday, June 6 at the intersection of Maude St and High St for east bound traffic along High St.

During this period, pedestrian access at the south end of the mall along High St will be required to detour at the traffic lights or through the walkway access to be installed within the mall between Identity and Evan’s Shoes.

This is anticipated to be in place until the end of August, 2022.
